WordPress 3.8 “parker” Released-New Features & Redesigned Dashboard
WordPress 3.8 version named as parker released with awesome user interface and great design ever. The man behind the wordpress 3.8 is Charlie Parker, That’s why it called as parker. I am very impressed with the new modern style of wordpress. Pages loads faster than before. The most considerable is the backend like flat design. Not only design functionality also changed. Now the whole system is responsive compatible with desktop smart phones and tablets.These effects are made by adding four different plugins on the core code.
What is new?
You can setup various color schemes on user profile of admin. It includes eight beautiful color schemes. MP6 plugin was installed to get more improvement for dashboard. Mp6 plugin leads to the color sceme of new wordpress.
It is very hard drag and drop widget on touch devices. Overcome such problem by customizing widget module by adding widget area chooser plugin.Now You can either drag and drop or alternatively adding widgets which suit for your device.
Theme module was simplified, upload, navigation buttons are removed and the grid view gives more effective. Larger thumbnails make easier switching to any themes and quick browsing.THX Plugin made these functional changes. A new magazine theme Twenty Fourteen was introduces along with the wordpress 3.8.
